I now have time to start working on Buzzen Groups again. I'm looking for a few beta testers interested in helping.

I am progressing slowly but surely. Beta testers will be added soon.

One of the options will be creating pages for your groups.. Here is an example of the type of page you could create.

Can group members create their own pages/spaces for things they may want to upload - photos, music etc?

Currently the plans are making groups like a mini buzzen. Groups will have the ability to create pages/photo albums/and blogs/discussions

Currently testing the Creation Process and the Page add/edit feature.

Let me know if you have any ideas about the creation process. Anything you think should be added that isn't or any bugs you find.

Once you have created your group you can edit settings @ http://www.buzzen.com/groupmanager.html

You can create and edit pages by clicking the pages tab once there.

Main page will have more information as we add sections.

Looking for feedback on the process/bugs/ideas/etc.

Creation process is very straight forward and easy to understand. No issues with creating. Dont think there really needs to be anything else for the creation part.

I agree with Eyecu, easy to use. Maybe add 'Miscellaneous' to the Group description list? Plus 'Entertainmnet' needs to be 'Entertainment'.

Join/Accept/Decline manager should work now.

Everything is still a work in progress.. I'm sort of making this up as i go along, and at times I have to rewrite whole sections when other ideas occur.

What I hope to accomplish with beta tester program is to not only test what I make but get feedback on what should be added and how it should work.

Planned features include:

latest happenings ie: <nick> has joined group. // new page has been created. // new album etc etc
Albums
Blogs/Discussions

I barely remember anything about msn groups so any feedback on how you want groups to function and what sections we should include would be very helpful. Give me your idea of Buzzen Groups and i'll do my best to make them work.

Added Albums

at the moment only the group owner can add albums pics. later on you will be able to select members to a group that can add them too.

Everything is still in development so any section can change. Cosmetics will be improved over time.

Update: moved albums management out of the groupmanager area.

Added to settings to albums.

No picture comments allowed

Members may add pictures to album if main setting allows members to add/edit albums

We have discussed that option in the past and it was shot down. There seems to be a lot of people that do not wish other people to know which profiles they look at. Many thought it would only cause problems. We do have a like system on profiles now. People can like your profile and only the profile owner can see who the likes were from.

Thank you for the feedback however. I really enjoy hearing from the chatters on options they would like. Maybe we can find some middle ground in the future to implement your idea.

There was an addition to the Blues Music discussion board at 11:08:10 am my time today. When I look at http://www.buzzen.com/groups.html right now it states "Last Activity: 2 days ago 9:53:36 pm".

Many thanks for the creating the group option - it was needed and is appreciated.

I was wondering if there will be an option added in the settings to enable turning off the 'latest album pictures' and the 'lastest picture comments' from the view on the main page?
