Hi you.... I'm D'Lisa (Yes my real name lol) best pal Kell' calls me LADYBUG lol But anyways here it goes...I've been a single mother who raised my son on my own....he's nearly 24 now, finished with school and is now making a life for himself...He's doing very well ...I'm so proud of him! I'll have to pat myself on the back for having him turn out so well..pat! pat! lol  I was blessed with 2 beautiful grand~daughters...Christal...5yrs old and Shyanne..almost 4yrs old...oh Christopher is going to have his hands full in the future! lol Gotta luv being a Grammy! lol  They are such precious gifts to have in my life.... 

I have lived in Oregon for most of my life except for 4yrs too long in Southern California...lol Been back home since 89' and I'm pretty sure or am positive for that matter that I will never leave Oregon again....except to travel which I do luv to do alot of.....but in all actuality, there's no such place as there is like here at home  **wink**  & **smiles** Now that my son has his own life now... I replaced him with TOBY....a Lhasa Apso......lol which is almost 7yrs old now..looks like a walking mop with short legs that grumbles...must be the age thing because he never use to do that lol

My friends would describe me as thoughtful and caring and VERY understanding....always willing to listen when they need someone to talk too....I always try to be there for them or help them when I can as I always have for my family...

I have turned into a crossword puzzle fanatic...gets my mind thinking! lol and when I'm not doing that....I'm reading a good James Patterson mystery or on occassion a Romance novel...Jane Austen has been my favorite...... "Pride & Prejudice"..... "Persuasion" AND "Sense & Sensibility"  and workin' on some of her other novels (YES! i am a true romantic at heart!) And when I have a spare moment to ponder.... I luv to write poetry and of course.... I do alil chattin' with my friends!!  lol 

The Words "I Love You" means to me......

The words I Love You is very powerful words....It is used for showing love....anger...depending on the emotions...behind everything involved between two people....love hurts...grows and bears guilt....many abuse the priviledge of having the feeling everyone wishes for....

In fairytales, we believe our life relationships will be perfect and everything will be great, but until we grow.....live....and learn that our lives will be what we make it. Relationships are filled with problems that teach us every day tools inwhich we will use to each little detail on the person we are wanting to be with and grow old with, so we are granted with that blessing. And some keep trying to find that one special person that they will be ONE with and understand and grow with till the end.....

Love is....real love is true...matches are made....people are one...both to have trust and respect long before a life long commitment can be started. Give and Take....if one feels like they are doing all the giving...walls and fences are put in place of the feelings that belong. Once life hits that road, its time to make common sacrifices on each one's part. As time goes on, if each person isn't willing to make sacrifices to better the relationship, Love may not be strong enough to withstand the pressures they both will be facing in life to come.....

Love is open and isn't blind...Love helps heal one's pain....open hearts.....and will always find their soulmates or the one they belong with. Love has once been called unconditional but there are times when loving someone isn't enough to make someone change for who you think they should be. Because if you do, it will only cause harm and make that person have hurtful feelings toward you.....

"Till death do us part" is a line so many want to live by, but don't make it. Some try to struggle with a love so strong, it only brings best friends closer and closer till they think and act as one soul...combined for eternity and with much gratitude for finding that special someone that was sent to them to love....cry.....protect and hold forever.....

These are just my thoughts of what it means to me....call me a romantic lol
