Now you can view "todays" Birthdays. You can view the current birthdays of users that disclose their age on their profile. You can view the short lists on the members page , the social page, or view the full list @ Birthday Page

We have returned the default Blue theme back to Buzzen. For those that have the Christmas sprit all year long you can now choose the Christmas theme from the theme dropdown. Enjoy

You can now add your favorite YouTube playlist to your Buzzen Profile. Just go to edit your profile and enter your playlist link in the appropiate section.

We have added Facebook Share links to blogs and status messages to easily share your content or content you like straight to your facebook.

Now viewing Buzzen Photo Albums is easier than ever. We have re-vamped our user photo album area. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

We have recently unveiled our new Social and Status walls. You can find your social and status wall in your profile area. Status allows you and people on  your friends list to interact with on another on your profile. You can make small posts that let other comment on them. If they are on your friend's list they can post and comment on your wall.

Your Social Wall shows all of your latest actions. Both the Status and Social Walls are viewable by the public but you can set them to be viewed only by people on your friends list.

Note these features are in Beta development so if you notice a problem or have a suggestion please let us know.

We have simplified the forgotten password system. A secret question and answer is no longer required. A special url will be sent to your email address to allow you to change your password. If you experience any trouble with the updated system please visit the Helpdesk.

We have changed the audio player on profiles from the outdated windows media player to a flash player. The upside is now all browsers can play the audio without having to add a windows media plugin. The downside is it only uses the mp3 format. This shouldn't pose a huge problem as there is plenty of free software to convert other audio formats to mp3.

Now you can set your own custom Buzzen profile background image. Simply upload a background you like to your Buzzen Photo Album and then choose "Set as your profile background". It's that easy. You can change the image using your photo album or you can remove the image by either deleting it or using the Remove Profile Background link located at the bottom left of your profile. This is a new feature so there may be some bugs. If you notice any please report them to the Helpdesk.

Note: To get the full effect of the new system you should use the latest version of your browser of choice.

Update: You can now set the transparency of your profile information to show more of the background. Do this by going to your edit profile. It is located towards the bottom in the profile settings.

Update2: Now you can edit your background image straight from your profile. Once you add images to your photoalbum you can choose which one to use from a drop down in your edit profile section.

We have re-written our ancient auto image resizer. What this does is take a large image and automatically make it smaller to fit into our various theme elements. The new system should allow pages to load faster and give us a more uniform control over image sizes. You may need to clear you cache in order to see the images. If you do not see images you think you should then hold down the CTRL key and press the F5 key. This will refresh the page and the images should then show.

We have repaired the blogs rss feeds. Now you can keep track of your favorite blogger and their comments with you RSS Feeder of choice.

Using Buzzen's new Track Profiles addon you can get updated when your favorite profiles get updated. Simply go to their profile and click on Track Profile. When a profile you are tracking updates you will receive an alert in the top menu that will take you to your Profile tracking management page. There you can see which profiles have been updated since the last time you visited them.

You will also find the latest 5 tracked profiles added on your custom homepage.

We are in the process of updating the hardware of our chat server. The new hardware should increase the speed and stablitiy of our chat network. Some users may experience some connection issues during the transition. We expect the process to go smoothly but  as with any update of this kind there could be some issues. We will work quickly to solve any problems that will arise. The move will be done between July 4th and July 5th. If you have any issues please visit our support area.
