If Trump filed for bankruptcy 4 times, why is he still a billionaire?
It is important to clarify a couple of facts…
First off, Trump has never declared personal bankruptcy.
Secondly, Trump has been involved in over 100 business entity ventures and 4 of those 100 companies have filed for bankruptcy.
With these facts properly in perspective, it’s important to note that the failure rate for any business that is started in the US is well over 90% within 10 years. Trump has a business failure rate of 4%, given that only 4 filed for bankruptcy out of 100. I am sure a number of the others have failed or were shut down too, but didn’t require a business bankruptcy.
People like to make accusations and twist facts to suit their narrative. It’s important that everyone be intellectually honest about the reality.
Regards American politics, I am an objective foreign national, I have no dog in this fight, I just find the whole thing wryly amusing at best, each 'side' hating the other with a passion, come what may. This ferent partinsonship will destroy America, not save it. And obviously, the democrats are the thinkers and have the moral high ground, but they don't 'win' all the time. They don't win even 'most' of the time. Over 50% of American governors are Republican. And there is a reason for that, and it is not pretty. Republicans win BECAUSE they are completely unethical, BECAUSE they never OVERESTIMATE the morals or ethics of the American voter, Republicans go for the lowest common denominator, and they often win. And you can't possibly win by calling them out, calling them on their evil, they just shrug their shoulders and carry on. Dems can't possibly beat the GOP by calling them names. They're dirty fighters, and in this tired old world of ours, evil often wins. It is simply the way of Life. As for Donald Trump (or Drumpf, as I like to call him, that is the real family name, they changed it to Trump when the family moved to America) Donald Drumpf is no pushover. You underestimate him at your peril. You underestimated him in 2016, and look what happened. Not ALL of Trump's idiotic statements are idiotic. Some of Trump's idiotic statements are pure genius. Trump is a 'pretty good' practitioner of NLP (neurolinguistic programming) like his good buddy and pal Anthony Robbins, who is truly a Past Master at it. When, after the "grab them by the pussy" tape aired, a reporter, might even have been a Fox News reporter, asked Candidate Trump, "Mister Trump, are you a misogynist? Do you hate women?" To which Trump replied, "Rosy O'donnel". This was pure genius. This was NLP. With that answer, Trump went from being a woman-hater to being a 'straight shooter.' That was pure genius. That was NLP. So if you think Trump will be a pushover, if you think Trump's incompetence managing the coronavirus or COVID-19 outbreak in America, so that America is approaching having the highest death rate per capita IN THE WORLD. If you think that alone will doom Trump in November 2020, then you are wrong. Dead (and pardon the pun lol) wrong. Trump is harder to pin down than a greased pig. Just watch out. I think Biden, just for fun, should have Rosy Odonnel argue the Democrat side in one of the debates. You'd have to have a period agreement with the Secret Service that Trump wasn't allowed to leave the stage, and cut and run. Rosy O'donnel truly gets under Trump's skin. She would be hilarious to watch and show Biden has a great sense of humor. And of course, Rosy O'donnel would need some tutelage from Anthony Robbins, the master of NLP, before the debate, although I think Rosy has an innate sense of it all on her own. It would be hilarious, and fun, watching Trump have a complete meltdown on stage before the entire world. Mark my words. If you are underestimating Trump again, if you think the facts will slow Trump down, you are dead (again that pun, sorry lol) wrong. Trump could well win in 2020, despite the fact he has and will continue to effectively MURDER hundreds of thousands of Americans with Trump's total incompetence and complete mishandling of the COVID-19 epidemic. If you think the facts will slow The Donald down, you are wrong. He is one wily treacherous verbal escape artist. He is a master of NLP. Not as good as Tony Robbins, but Trump's small knowledge of NLP caused Candidate Trump to win in 2016, perhaps, and I'm pretty sure of this, a victory he did not want. Apparently, when the results came in in 2016, Trump was completely ashen-faced. Trump didn't run in 2016 to win. He ran, fully expecting to lose, and lose big, simply to increase the public awareness and fondness for 'The Trump Brand'. And regarding the Trump brand, Trump has a horrible reputation in the construction business. The standard Trump approach to construction was to hire the best, and then simply just not pay them. Many many businesses, many successful tradesmen and their construction empires went completely bankrupt and went out of business, simply because Trump did not pay them when the bill came due. Hopefully, on any new construction, these tradesmen will make sure they get their payment in full before starting work, either in cash or by certified check. Time wounds all heels. And Trump owns a lot of very good golf courses. Although Trump himself is a terrible golfer. And he cheats lol. The reason a lot of business is done on the golf course is that golf is a gentleman's game, and a person can learn a lot about a prospective business associate, if they cheat at golf. So yeah. Trump is a heel. And 'time wounds all heels.' So trust me. Trump will get his. Eventually. But don't count The Donald 'out' in November 2020. That would be most unwise. He fooled you once. Don't let him fool you one more time. It will be a contest in November, and not everything foolish that comes out of The Donald's mouth is foolish. Some of it is a well-calculated genius. Never underestimate the power of bafflegab and pure bullshit on the average American voter. Be so advised.
