I am One that is not "Perfect" for there is no such thing as a "Perfect" Dominant. There are though "Good" Dominants and I pride Meself in being one of those.
For a "Good" Dominant should always be sure of Himself. Never ever looks down upon others to build Himself up. He must know that His way is not thee only path and allow Others to follow thier own paths not matter how diverse.
Knowing thee difference between punishment and play, between pain and sensation. A "Good" Dominant does not exert His power in angry. He knows that in order to control others, He must first control Himself.
As fer a submissive, He will exercise his art to help her become a women she has always been. her gift of submissive if she so wishes to give to Him is something that He could never taken from her as it is a gift of herself, her soul, given to Him.
