•WHO IS SYNTHIA•
Synthia is a mysterious woman. Her features are soft, yet sharp, defined and elegant, Framed perfectly by long straight black hair that reaches down to the middle of her back. Her appearance is well manicured down to the last detail, however there is a raw, almost wild edge to her striking features that most can not describe, yet notice right away.
Synthia always wears clothes of high quality and class, yet her choices are subtle, although she can stand out in a crowd at times, it is not usually because of her attire but more the raw quality of her beauty. In a crowded room, she will often catch and hold the gaze of the patrons, which can be unsettling for some yet alluring for others.
Calm, confident, sexual. Synthia gives off a natural, exotic sensuality that is both mysterious and captivating to those in close proximity. When around her for any period of time, one notices the sense of contentment and how at ease they feel in her presence.
Synthia always smells good, her preferred perfume is one that has a deep luxurious, oriental fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of rich rose, orange blossom, jasmine, vetiver, oakmoss, amber and musk. It actually seems to float around her rather than sit upon her skin, so subtle in the air that one questions if they smelt anything, but know that they did. Synthia's voice is feminine, alluring and hypnotic. She is soft spoken and articulate, and when she is in conversation with you, it appears that not only does she completely understand you, but that you are truly being heard for the first time in your life. Synthia's accent is an unusual mix of Fion'lagh & Alaric (imagine a british/american accent and your close)
•A BRIEF HISTORY•
Synthia was an accomplished and registered companion of the Oiran Guild. On her 30th birthday Synthia discontinued her official service to the Oiran Guild. While not usual for an Oiran to 'retire' into the general population, Synthia managed to set up the circumstances that would allow her to do so and now seeks a more settled simple life.
Members of the Oiran Guild are an exclusive part of the social elite, often seen in attendance of the wealthy and most powerful. The beauty, elegance, and skills of the Oiran Companions have earned them the highest respect in social, noble and political circles. To be seen with a companion of the Guild at a state dinner or royal event, proves you have both the money, influence and ability to impress the Guilds very high standards for client acceptance.
The companions of the Oiran Guild are recognised {by those who matter} by a distinctive ring bearing the Guilds Emblem, an arrow, entwined by dual serpents. The arrow symbolizes power, swiftness and knowledge while the dual serpents symbolise the connection between primal forces, integration of opposites, advanced communication and making whole what was once fragmented.
Officially, Oiran Companions are contracted for accompaniment to local Political Events, State Dinners, Diplomatic Missions and the like, by those with the power and money to do so. The more highly experienced Oiran Companions can also be contracted for Mediation or even requested to sit upon a Judicial Council.
Their skills in psychology and human nature make them excellent choices for these roles. Although still extensively trained in the art of human pleasure, the Guild has evolved over the centuries from their humble courtesan roots and this aspect of a contract is reserved for their more exclusive and influential clients.
Unofficially, the Oiran Guild wields more power in most worlds than the governments that run them. It is said that their extensive network is able to gather information from everywhere, even areas blocked to travel and that there is little anywhere that goes unknown to the higher ranking members of the guild.
Long has it been understood that when one is seen with a Oiran Companion, that more than just social celebration is on the agenda. Powerful houses have rumoured to rise and fall at the hand of the Oiran Guild.
Her skills are wide and varied but it will most likely be behind the ale tap of a bar in a local tavern that you will find her these days.

•ABOUT THE FION'LAGH•
The Fion'lagh females are always well toned and athletic builds. Both Fion'lagh genders have an aura of exotic sensuality about them & they usually use this to their advantage, this can be quite intoxicating for those who are young and naive. Their hair and eye colour vary though almost always in the darker tones. You will find individuals of this race in nearly every city on Endura, but as a race they do not boast many of their own founded settlements, being well known loners. That said however, the City of Azarad found in the Border Lands is loosely known as the Fion'lagh Capital.
The Fion'lagh are for the most part the neutral or chaotic aligned of the humans. They fight to protect their own but are usually unwilling to engage in battles of good against evil or entangle themselves in political wars unless some personal or financial gain on offer. Occasionally you may come across a good or evil aligned Fion'lagh, although not impossible, this is a rare occurrence.
