what makes dad sad
pain makes dad sad
when pain makes dad sad
dad could very well get mad
...he gets mad because it seems
pain is all hes had you see
sometimes hes glad and not that mad
thats when the pain is not so bad
he hides all day at his pad
]sometimes not even fully clad
he mumbles words like cool and rad
perhaps his brain is soft a tad
maybe even slightly mad

rocks socks
I have rocks, in my socks
and when I shove my socks in crocs
I still can feel those damn sock rocks
they seem to mock me those small rocks
untill I scream outloud " A POX ....
A POX A POX ON THOSE DAMN ROCKS"
who seem to hide within my socks
I think those rocks inside my socks
have found their very own Ft. Knox
they may come from the gross cat box
but rocks are all around my block
if I could I'd sell some stocks
for mining rights inside my socks
but then I'd have some after shocks
the time is late by my old clock
so I'll lie down in my hammock
or sit down on my fat buttocks
and manage all my flocks of rocks
that still reside within my socks

button your lip don't let the shield slip
take a fresh grip on your bullet proof mask
and if they try to break down your disguise with their questions
you can hide hide hide
behind paranoid eyes
you put on your brave face and slip over the road for a jar
fixing your grin as you casually lean on the bar
laughing too loud at the rest of the world
with the boys in the crowd
you hide hide hide
behind petrified eyes
you believed in their stories of fame fortune and glory
now you're lost in a haze of alchohol soft middle age
the pie in the sky turned out to be miles too high
and you hide hide hide
behind brown and mild eyes
