not a Christmas gift but have exchanged a gift with a friend. we were both married. so the gifts  were very respectable. i gave him a lighter from my state because he collects lighters. he sent me what is called a worry stone. it was a semi clear crystal that you see an angel inside it. is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and you rub it to take away your worries. this was many years ago. we  lost touch but i still have the gift

In the old msn days, Ellie did a secret Santa in the group/room we were in, so yes, I have bought a few xmas gifts for my chat friends.
