I just had the most delightful experience in OM, as have many other ppl; I must pose this question:
Why is booting/banning good for one chatter, but not good for another?
What's good for the goose should be good for the gander, should it not? Why are some chatters booted/banned on sight, but others allowed to coordinate chaos?

So, moral of this story must be that because an OM host 'knows' you, you are subject to a boot/ban at his/her discretion; yet others are not no matter what rolls off their finger tips. I've seen more than my share posts about the leadership in OM, mostly because of biased behavior such as this.
Please, tell me, why does this happen for one but not all?

Prima, ty for showing the truth about the HOSTS in that room. I remember back when this exact thing happened by hosts in another room and eventually people got tired of it and it killed the room. Its going to happen again. Eventually all the ass kissers will say something to bet banned unfairly and they will slowly leave. The problem with HOSTS is their lack of ability to be fair and unbiased even when the room has clear rules...
Read this and see how much Rose gets away with. She got me banned when I wasn't even in the room! But then again I don't suck up or ass kiss.

I don't understand this, at what point in my post did anyone (other than the OM regular that was named) bait the host, or was an asshole? No one is 'bitching' about being banned, in fact the last time I checked I was welcomed in OM (probably not after this post but that will just validate my point); people who have been banned by OM hosts wear it as a badge of honor, however the group is becoming so large, it's almost cliché.

Please note the replies reply of one several of the OM hosts/leaders specifically saying "Your visit may be short" isn't that just a fancy way of saying come to our room so we can ban you?
You, yourself even say that you're not there all the time, you don't sit and baby sit adults, which is fine and dandy, but I'm not going to guess when you're there and when you're not. I'm sorry that you do not agree with the method I have taken here, however, I have offered you a alternative.

No need to be passive aggressive or nasty here, if you thought that I was being serious about being given a hammer after being away from chat and OM for over a year, I'm sorry you assumed that; but I knew I'd never be issued one, and I was/am perfectly okay with that. My visits to OM as of late has been few and far between and when I do visit, it's rarely for very long, perhaps that hasn't come to your attention.
But nvm, since you refuse to continue on.
I must thank you for your insights and contribution to this thread.

There is always a damn good reason for it when I do ban. And why create more drama and bs and post here? If there are problems with OM and hosts, then bring it to a gold hosts attention. We are more than approachable. And Cosmina, you know good well why you are banned and there is no need to go into it.

Is this not a forum? An avenue of communication? A method in which to converse? Why pray tell are the OM hosts/leaders so bent out of shape in my choice of venue? I have only spoken about the huge elephant in the room. Insulting my sense of humor only solidifies my point here; it seems this obvious criticism has rubbed many the wrong way - and might I say, no one has produced an answer, nor has anyone come to speak with me regarding this matter. Yes, I could come to OM and MAYBE find a gold hammer and MAYBE get my point across and MAYBE get banned, but it seems OM leadership/hosts are better at dodging questions than making unbiased choices.
It's a simple question, why is one set of rules applied to some chatters, but not others?

I'm going to weigh in here, I chat across several rooms and see the shit going on in them so I feel well qualified to add comment. Let me preface this firstly by saying, I don't wish to offend and if your nose does get outta joint, sorry but not sorry.
In the legal sense PapaWolf pays for the privilege of owning and operating OpenMinded in any manner he sees fit to. It is no different to driving a car on the freeway, he owns the vehicle and all contained within it's chasis. If you are requested to pipe down and belt up, you do so or exit the vehicle. Outside of the vehicle is the driving laws of that State/Country etc. When you registered an account on Buzzen you agreed to abide by their rules the same way a vehicle driver agrees to abide by the road/driving rules also. You in the role of passenger, agree to abide by the rules set out by the driver, et al. Still following?
Buzzen isn't a democracy, why would you feel it is? Nobody "votes" the owner into the position and He/Jay laid down the rules because he pays for it and gets to say so. PapaWolf has paid his BSR so he gets to lay down the rules of His room, last time I looked, he wasn't voted in, therefore it is NOT a democracy either. He appoints his Staff to uphold the rules of His room, He has determined that the Host Staff he chose have the skills and attributes required and it's as simple and cut throat as that.
He doesn't have to justify and validate why He allows some chatters in and others are banned. Moreover, He is under no obligation to provide the room for you to chat in, He does so because frankly, He had the coin and you did not.
You can chat elsewhere, nobody requires your presence in OM.
Hope all who read this followed my oversimplification but, in truth it is what it is.

Honestly its a private room. They can do as they wish. And to put this in a public forum is just more bullshit drama. To pull me into the middle of it is so childish and lame but so be it. Seems you have nothing better to do with your time. If you dont like the rules dont chat there. Plain and simple. I have no say in what any of the hosts or owners do. I am no ones favorite either and I get away with nothing. Like I said you need to do other things with your time.

Having just read through all the threads I see one common theme....NO ONE addressing the fact that the HOSTS have different rules for different people and show extreme partiality. I have no problem with the room being private and doing what it wishes...just really do think the name is very deceptive and should be changed!

Perhaps I maybe didn't make myself clear, this isn't a post about any one chatter, that means Budd and Rose; I'm not on some crusade (lead or take part in an energetic and organized campaign concerning a social, political, or religious issue) for anyone. If they want to come in every room and cause a ruckus, that's their prerogative, and if they're being dumb, fine, ban them. However, sweet child, my question - NEH the topic of this thread has really only called to question how the hosts/leaders in OM discern (perceive or recognize) the same bannable behavior in different chatters; and how they react.
At one point I DO speak about the behavior of chatters in my original post, only to point out unsavory behavior, that chatter was an OM chatter but.... *sips tea* ... Aside from that one time, at what point do I call attention to chatter's behavior? I can wait.
Please note that I have been completely okay with Sera's post, granted she's not a host or owner of OM, she really said more in her post than all of the OM comments combined.
