There's something about becoming lost in another person's eyes that just resonates with me. The opportunity to sit, without speaking, and communicate in ways that no language has words for... is beyond measure or description.
Perhaps if we had that opportunity, I wouldn't have to write this... yet alas, here we are. So... make yourself comfortable. I'll try and make the next few minutes as enjoyable as I can.
My friends have described me as a, "Gentle Giant"; I think it's a pretty sweet ass description... and rather accurate. I'm often found with a genuine smile on my face (highlighting my dimples), and a quick laugh (which falls in line with my kick ass... though somewhat corny... sense of humour).
Why did Ms. Tomato turn red? Because she saw Mr. Green Pea.

I firmly believe that there are measures of good in everyone and every situation - whether you're able to see them or not. In line with that is the belief that everyone has worth... everyone.
The outdoors is where I find peace - be it running, cycling, going for a stroll... Backpacking, trekking, playing frisbee or climbing a tree. I'm game! Meditation for me takes place during my runs... though I have a hard time quieting my mind then as well. Travelling and experiencing new and different cultures and scenery (whether it be in a far off land, or on a road trip) are more of my loves... and are essential to my well being as well.
Being a good listener, using empathy effectively, enjoying the simple things in life, and using ellipses extensively... also round me out.
And hey, I can hug like no other! Being tall and broad shouldered allows for such.
