Looking back it wasn't even a real bad comment, not really..... you were just weak and drained, and that one comment makes it all fall apart. The straw that broke the camel's back. Except, I'm not a camel, and it wasn't my back that broke. It's so strange, all these feelings coming from someone that's normally so happy, always upbeat, always eager to smile and laugh........ oh how I love to laugh! That deep belly laugh where your sides hurt, your face hurts, and you never want to stop. I love that! But I can't laugh right now, I am welling up again, leaking from the eyes, being a guy.... I guess. God, I hate this. That tightness in your throat, the throb in your forehead, the sinking feeling on the inside. Contention. No pity, I don't want pats on the back and little cliches that're supposed to make one feel better. I just want to write it all out so I can feel it, understand it, and learn from it.
