…like music on my playlist.
A new song enters a life. You feel the connection. The rhythm. The beats. You have the movements, it takes over your body. The physiological responses are incredible. Your hips move. Your head bobs. You smile and your eyes close automatically.
The psychological responses of hormones being released, synapsis occur. An electrical charge, refreshing and rejuvenating. Inspiration abounds. Energy is plentiful.
The sounds reverberate through your head. The waves enter into you and immediately your mood is altered. The melody is overwhelming. The vocals send chills down your back. It’s incredible.
When I find a new song I break it down layer by layer. The song in its entirety captures my initial attention. If it is good enough for me to purchase I will listen to it 100 times consecutively. First listening to one layer then the next. I have to learn everything there is, examining what each note gives to the song. Each lyric and instrument. I have to understand it. I get more excited with each identified variable. Pull it apart. Deconstruct and reconstruct. It’s so exciting.
