My name is Shawn , I have dark blue eyes, blond/lite brown hair, and I wear a goatee that seems to be getting a bit of gray in it. Oh noooooo... lol, cant wait till its all gray. hahah
I'm 6'2'' , and about 200 pounds, or so, and I shave and shower on a regular basis. Every day . lol I'm not a clean freak for sure, but I do try to keep things neat, more then the average 'male'. And just so its been said, I don't keep the t.p. on the roller, its not very handy there. So over the top or under the bottom is not an issue with Me.
I'm definitely an animal lover, Ive done animal rescue for years, most recently rehabilitating a yellow fronted amazon parrot for nearly two years , and then finding him a suitable home.
I work hard and love life for all it has to offer.
All Im missing is a special Lady to enjoy it all with.
I don't drink on a regular daily basis, hate the taste of beer and would rather just enjoy a Kahlua and milk on a hot summer day or a bloody Mary perhaps with brunch, but again, not on a regular basis, and I don't keep it around just to make sure I have 'it'. Ive fallen off the wagon and started smoking again. will soon stop. Its not a good habit.
I'm looking for a lady that's interested in being treated like a lady, in all sense of the word. I like to spoil that special lady in the normal silly ways, a flower on her pillow when she least expects it, a note on the bathroom mirror telling her how special she is, or just a simple ' i miss you' text. There's some good in today's technology. Anything I can do to make her smile, makes Me smile. Id like a lady that has her own things to do and enjoy and would look forward to spending time with a special someone after her and her girlfriends spent the day shopping, or what ever. Some one who is confident in their own identity, but is also looking for that extra boost of life they get from being with someone who cares about them. Someone who will spoil them and treat them like a Queen.
As for age, I'm not to choosy except one has to be mature, and a 25 year old kid is not what I'm interested in. Id prefer to find a lady more my age, or older, since I'm not into games, especially games involving the heart I'm more attracted to a lady with some style and class then I am to the younger type. No younger then about 35 or 37 to 55 or so. A lady who enjoys walks on the beach, looking for shells and aggots, maybe Golf a round, hikes to the falls, and even ride a bicycle. And I have bikes, so no cop outs that ' you don't have a bike' lol... I love sitting by the camp fire with a pot of coffee and watch the embers twinkling in the darkness, or in the house in front of the fire place with nice hot cup of tea. I love going to the Saturday market, holding hands and looking at all the things to be seen, or down to the bite of Salem, tasting the foods and enjoying the summer day together. The art fair in the summer is something I usually spend a couple days walking through, would be so much more enjoyable to share it with a special Lady.
I am going to get picky here. I'm attracted to someone that's in good body shape and as needed, good health to be able to do the things that we hopefully both find enjoyable. Like chasing each other round the bedroom ever now and again. I don't expect perfection in anyone or anything, I just want someone that is actually healthy and able bodied enough to do the things that make life enjoyable. While I'm on the subject, I really am looking for a long term deal, not friends with benefits or someone that has a lot of ' friends with bennies'. I'm not interested in sharing My time or affections with someone that's not totally 100% on My team and want to be there. I was only married once, for a little while. And in that short nearly 20 years, I never , not once cheated on My ex-wife. I'm all about focusing all My attention on one Lady. One that can focus her affections and her desires on Me. Not share it with others. I can assure you that I can handle your emotions and your desires. As for hair color, that's subject to change on your whim I suppose, but if you have green hair, maybe we wouldn't get along, but I'm not picky about a ladies hair color. But if you ask, I will tell you its beautiful and looks fabulous.
I don't spend a lot of time watching TV, There just seems to be too much TV watching going on these days and less quality time spent enjoying family, or the person you're with. So if you watch TV, you're required to play footsies or hold hands at the same time. hahaha,,,,but really, why not.?
I'm into just about all kinds of music, from Jazz, to old rock and roll, I listen to an old country music show on Sunday mornings. I'm a fan of classical, as well as a lot of the new stuff out today. I enjoy a day out side working on My Bonsai trees, or browsing the nurseries looking for different plants and such. I don't have a green thumb, but I enjoy plants, so I try.
Im a real touchy feely type person as well. I love to hold hands, touch a ladies face as I look into her eyes, back rubs, massage, a good hot oil foot rub always seems to do the trick after a long day. Rubbing the temples while whispering in your ear how I missed seeing you today.
I also love to cook on the grill. I use My grill year round, pull it under the porch and use it more then the stove even in the winter. I like to whip up a breakfast of sausage and eggs with toast on a chilly Saturday morning and wake up a sleeping beauty with her own breakfast in bed. I fix things too believe it or not. window wont open, porch steps broken down, need a new water heater installed, emergency calls in the middle of the night are FREE and so is roadside assistance 24 hours a day, pull you out of a snowy ditch or rescue you with flat tire. its all part of what I enjoy about being a Gentleman, I love to help and relish the chance to be a special ladies 'hero'. Its been along time since Ive been in that situation, but again, its a free service.
I even enjoy,,,, get ready for it,,,,,, Shopping. >>>, yes its true. Ill even go grocery shopping and even push the cart for you. And of course I carry the groceries, packages, or whatever else needs carried. Ill probably even insist on opening the door for you , in and out of the car, or the building, that doesn't have auto doors. lol,, dang technology.
