Well okay I'm all bruised in that photo; I fell over the hosepipe while watering my plants the day before. And no that is not my ex-husband, it's an 80yr old neighbour on his birthday!!
Interested in everything from art and crafts to music to holidays including touring my lovely, native Scotland. Like to cook for friends; better still when they cook for me. Like trying new dishes: will NEVER be the one who buys a frozen meal for one!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to be a confectioner and still bake a lot too. Have to share at least half with friendsd or neighbours, else I'd be the size of a house. Happiest cooking for APPRECIATIVE diners. Oh, and you're bringing the vino. And washing up if the dishwasher's playing up.
Also art, crafts, silk painting, teaching small children to do arty stuff. Books and movies and music. Classical music and classic rock. Can switch from Status Quo to Mozart quite happily. Quiet pubs and trivia/pub quizzes. Anything that tests the grey matter, really.
My Hyundai Coupe Sports III .... my pride and joy. If you get to sit in it, you sit STILL and DO NOT fiddle with the controls, the radio or ANYTHING!!!! And don't dare bring your own CDs, they will be used as missiles to hit passing pedestrians.
1. Don't take life too seriously - no one gets out alive anyway. 2. Most of us like our music; if it's too loud, you're too old. 3. If you don't have love then it doesn't matter much what else you have. If you have love then nothing else matters much at all. 4. If you're going to borrow money, borrow it from a pessimist - they don't expect to get it back anyway.
