I hope it's okay to post this.

I am really enjoying not just the strange chat topics, but I love having the music back again.

Great job everyone.

No one POACHED anywhere or anyone. Let's clear that up.. right now. That statement is indeed unfair and completely no truth is there. Galaxy radio disintegrated and shut down. The DJ's have all helped to build a really great thing here, and people are enjoying themselves and are getting along, that's what matters most.

I am glad you enjoy the music NG  (PH)
But what I find somewhat strange was all the Open Minded DJ's leaving to Mayhem.
And heading to madness.
Just curious because besides one DJ going there to chat I have never seen 90%
Was there a poaching/ recruitment  going on?
Madness never had ♪♪ it's very new new BSR room?
PS: My post is in no way being critical just curiosity.

Marty this statement is not driven by curiosity. Its assumption , nosiness and judgmental .
Like yourself there are other people wondering what happened and coming up with conclusions .
I am not about to explain to you or anyone how and why things have panned out the way they did.
Galaxy radio djs were never poached , There are NO ill feelings toward anyone from OM.
If I may speak on behalf of my fellow ex galaxy radio djs I want to express that we are now in a fresh new station because we enjoy the music and what we do.
At the end of the day its simply no one your business. If you feel disgruntled about the new changes then thats for you to sit with.

Hey Marty, let me set the record straight in plain terms:

1. Galaxy shut down on its own.
It wasn't running anymore. You can't poach DJs from a station that doesn't exist.

2. Nobody was recruited or pressured.
After Galaxy closed, the DJs and I talked it over. We all agreed together to move to Midnight Static. It was a mutual decision, not a raid.

3. I built this station alone, from scratch.
I didn't take anyone's format, crew, or idea. I started Midnight Static by myself. Other people got interested after it was already up and running.

4. Every DJ here joined willingly.
Not a single one was stolen from another active station. They're all here on their own terms and aren't DJing anywhere else.

5. You've been misled.

Starting a subject like "poaching" tells me someone fed you bad info. You got the wrong story from people who weren't part of any of this.
Bottom line: There was no poaching. There was no stealing. Galaxy closed, we regrouped, and we built something new together. If you want the real facts, come talk to me directly. Don't trust gossip from the sidelines.

I can confirm that, from the Relay side, the DJs have always been free to make whatever decisions they felt were best for them. They were volunteers, and I respect their right to choose where and how they want to spend their time.

The DJs who left Relay were very much appreciated, and they played a major role in helping build Relay into what it became. Their time, talent, personalities, and contributions mattered. If they were ever not given what they needed, made to feel unappreciated, or not shown the respect they deserved, then we are sincerely sorry. Regardless of where they choose to go from here, their contributions to Relay should not be overlooked or diminished.

I also want to clarify my own role. I was not part of Relay’s actual management or radio staff. I was primarily the website guy, but I was always available to help wherever I could. When Sizzle closed, Wes stepped up and provided the radio station, hosting, and other resources needed to give the DJs a new place to continue broadcasting. I supported Wes by building and maintaining the website and helping with the technical side so he could provide an online radio station for all of the DJs. Relay was created to give them a home and an opportunity to continue doing what they enjoyed.

I cannot speak for everything that happened on the Galaxy side. I only know that the original plan eventually became something different, and that was their decision as well. I believe everyone made the choice they felt was right for them, and I hold no ill will toward any of the DJs. I genuinely wish them success and hope they continue to enjoy what they do.

There is one statement I do feel needs clarification: “I didn’t take anyone’s format, crew, or idea.”

I do not believe that is entirely accurate when it comes to the format and ideas. I have logs showing that concepts, content, and even portions of code I created were copied and used. That disagreement is between Chain and me, and it does not affect how I feel about the DJs or the decisions they made.

I have worked very hard over the years to support Buzzen, its chatters, and several radio stations, including Tribal, Sizzle, Galaxy, and Relay. I contributed my time, technical knowledge, ideas, and experience to help these stations and the people involved whenever I could. I was always willing to help, and I would have done whatever I reasonably could for anyone who asked.

My concern is not that someone chose to create something of their own. Everyone has that right. My concern is when work, ideas, or code created by others are used without acknowledgment while it is publicly claimed that nothing was taken or copied. Using AI to modify or reproduce existing work does not erase where that work originally came from.

I am not looking for an argument, and I do not want this disagreement to overshadow the DJs or their future. I simply believe in being honest about what happened, acknowledging the people whose work helped make it possible, and taking responsibility for how those people were treated.

Hey — I sent you a message earlier but I'm not sure it went through (I tried Signal too). I just wanted to say I'm genuinely confused about what I supposedly copied, and I'd really like to talk it through calmly rather than let it sit. I'm here whenever you're ready.

There was a point when an honest conversation could—and should—have taken place, but unfortunately, it didn’t. You may choose to continue presenting things publicly as you have, but you know me well enough to know that I am aware of the truth and what actually happened.

At this point, I believe it is best for us to go our separate ways. I sincerely wish you the best in your future endeavors.

As a side note, I want to apologize to the DJs who still had “Relay Radio DJ” displayed in their profile tags. This was simply an oversight and was not intentional. The issue has now been corrected.
