Life presents its challenges from the moment we are born. We begin as blank slates, absorbing the lessons of existence. Our narratives unfold as we navigate the complexities of life, gradually imposing order upon the chaos that surrounds us. The pages of our story are not solely penned by our hand, others contribute their thoughts and actions to the narrative, yet we retain the power to shape the categories in which these contributions are placed.

In a world where some blindly adhere to a singular truth, it is essential to remember that nothing is absolute. When societal norms or moralities attempt to restrict us, we must recall that all actions are permissible. Apologies for inconveniences may be offered, but beneath the surface, communication tactics often masquerade as politics.

World leaders proclaim the return of science while orchestrating climate summits without inviting a single climate scientist to speak. They feign a war against fossil fuels while simultaneously inaugurating new coal mines, oil fields, and pipelines.

The pursuit of truth is a personal journey. It involves placing faith in oneself rather than conforming to religious doctrines, allowing us to perceive the world as it truly is.

The world, according to some, is an illusion, an arena where individuals either submit, retreat, or, as many choose to do, transcend. To transcend is to recognize that truths and laws do not emanate from divinity or books but are crafted for a purpose. It is not about achieving absolute freedom, as true freedom is elusive, instead, wisdom lies in our ability to navigate the constraints that surround us.

The notion that "nothing is true, and everything is permitted" implies an understanding that societal foundations are delicate, necessitating our stewardship. We are the architects of our actions, responsible for the consequences, be they glorious or tragic.

In a world where individuality is celebrated but controlled, where intelligence thrives in professions but fades in questioning authority, we find ourselves unwittingly contributing to a system that exploits us. United, we may appear formidable, but we often serve as mere fuel for an elite class hiding behind corporate logos.

Money, a tool handed to us, becomes a means of control. Yet, we are complicit in surrendering our world in exchange for currency. The world values appearances over substance, status over warmth, and outdated notions over genuine progress.

This is a world I refuse to accept, a world that prioritizes coal over clean energy, that sacrifices the righteous for profit. It's a world where only wars yield respect, and love remains untouched by material wealth.

Yet, amid the darkness, we must remember that stars cannot shine without the night, and triumph emerges from struggle. Respect cannot be bought with money, and love transcends the allure of luxury yachts. Religion or God does not provide technological advancements or cures, it is we, as humans with the power of gods, who secure the world.

In remembrance of those (and more) who dared to challenge the status: Ajren Kamphuis, Peter R de Vries, Nikola Tesla, Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, MK Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, Pim Fortuin, Franz Ferdinand, Yitzhak Rabin, Julius Caesar, Malcolm X, Benazir Bhutto, Robert F Kennedy, John F Kennedy, Alexander Litvinenko, Martin Luther King Jr.  and more, Their legacies endure as a testament to the power of individuals to shape the course of history.
