[11:42p] Bart Having spent the night within eyeshot of the port, with still no answer from the Administrator of Port Olni, I decided that it was time to make the first attempt to collect the final debt owed. I stood up from the central fire and pointed at 2 men, Octavius and Girard... "Gear up, we're going for a walk" I said. Most the men were settled in for the night and there was no need to rouse them. I walked to my tent and entered for a moment.

[11:45p] Bart When I exited, I was wearing a red tunic, black leathers and boots. I was equipped with a single 23-in short sword on my left hip, sheathed on my master belt, a standard battle helm and a 3ft round shield. The 2 men were armed similarly as they approached. "This is not an incursion, this is delivering a message" I said to them. "These are still our friends" and then I turned, walking to the path that leads to the ferry across the river.

[12:06a] Bart After taking the ferry across, the three of us walked toward the gates of Port Olni, this time a little less patient than the last. As we approached the guards at the man gate, we made way for what appeared to be a visiting Warrior and his FC. They appeared to be newly vowed. I took a silver piece out of my coin pouch and called out "Warrior!" As he looked, I tossed the coin and said "Congrats" and then saluted him. As they passed through the gates, I stepped up to one of the guards, whom I am familiar

[12:08a] Bart We chatted for a moment, catching up before I informed him that once again, I am here on business and that I would like a message passed on to Bashir. The men stood behind me, one off to my left, the other to the right, scanning the area around us as I spoke with the man.

[12:13a] Bart Asking if I wanted to deliver the message personally, I noted the hour and that the Administrator may be in chambers, and that's not my cup of tea. Instead, I reached in my belt, removing a scroll that was tightly rolled and sealed. "No, ensure this reaches him immediately." I said. Then I looked over the river. "Let's hope I don't need to waste more of my time" I said before turning, the men following suit as I said "Be well". We walked back to the ferry and waited.

[12:52a] Bart I thought about that couple that entered the gates before us. The coin I gave them would serve well, I was sure as they travelled the city that I once called home. I boarded the ferry and the two men followed, the short ride gave time for the scroll to reach the citadel, and by morning I was sure I would hear something from Bashir. On the other side, there were 3 wagons that were looking to cross, and as we closed in on the docking slip on the other side, I looked around and gave the men a nod.

[12:54a] Bart I exited the ferry and made my way back to the camp, a mere couple hundred yards from the ferry, surrounded by other camps, most of them Merchants waiting clearance to peddle in Port Olni. I passed through the narrow paths between them and back to my camp, meeting up with the senior men and chatting with them briefly before turning in for the night.
