Regarding lying politicians and government officials and Fasctards:  Peoples need to remember....North is North and what is right is right, regardless if you are the only one saying it.

I'm sure most people have seen, with their own eyes, the tragedy in MN, exacerbated by bald faced lies from people in power.  Can a Republican poltician talk without lying ?

Well, he finally said it out loud:  "No, I couldn't care less", which is his mindset about everything except himself.The wannabe fascists, the religious zealots who want their brand of religion to be the National Religion and the grifters are all beling played like an overitightened violin.  It would be laughable if not so sad.

For the latest verifiation that the electorate deserves those who are elected, consider the US Congressman from New Jersey who stated the recent "drone invasion" were drones emanating from an Iranian mothership off the coast of New Jersey.  Really.  He said it.

Observing from the sidelines, it appears as though the race is on to determine which minority group of zealots will have outsized if not complete influence on the future of our democratic republic:  religious groups or wanna be fascists.  Neither has appeal.

Welp, we now have a convicted felon who is a clueless, classless, churlish charlatan as president, and has in his cabinet even dumber people, such as a maganut for head of HHS who believes in 17th century science, and someone dumb enough to take his wife to a high level military intelligence meeting with steadfast (well used to be anyway) allies.  The clown show has started, the anti-intellectuals are at least nominally in charge, we shall see what rabbit holes these folks will go down.

The spaceship Earth is a finite resource, why is it so little is being done to conserve this resource ? I am sure my grandchildren's granchildren will say of my generation: "they had so much, and they did so little".
