I am happily married, retired from the Army and other endeavors.  I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago a long time ago. I am warm and empathetic, but can get judgemental when angry.  I have two children.  My oldest is working at the VA after graduating from Illinois State University after a 5 year stint in the US Navy;and my youngest graduated from Lewis University.  She is married and has 3 children.   My wife has a MA in History and we live in a quiet home in Plainfield, IL (35 miles SW of Chicago). My favorite authors-Joseph Conrad, C. S. Lewis. J. R. R. Tolkien, Anthony Burgess, James Joyce and Barbara Tuchman.  Favorite Music:  Irish and American Folk Music and some Rock n Roll..My hobbies include gardening, reading, chat, and history(Medieval and Renaissance mostly).It is better to keep your mouth shut and let some people think you are a fool than to open your mouth and let the whole world know the truth.
