MMA divisional rankings: Nassourdine Imavov uses KO to climb at middleweight

Nassourdine Imavov was already a top-10 middleweight before the weekend. Entering the UFC Fight Night main event, Imavov was unbeaten in his most recent seven fights at the weight class. But he still was in search of a signature victory.

He got it Saturday in Saudi Arabia, knocking out former UFC champion Israel Adesanya. It was the third straight loss for Adesanya, but the other two had come against the current champion, Dricus du Plessis, and Sean Strickland, a former champ who will be looking to regain the throne this coming weekend. So Imavov is in elite company.

As a result of his win, Imavov moves into the top four of ESPN's middleweight rankings. That bumps Adesanya down just one spot to No. 5, as he was looking good before getting caught by the big right hand that dropped him.

No other division had any changes to its top 10.

Here are the ESPN pound-for-pound MMA rankings and a list of current UFC champions in all weight classes.
