The haul was uncovered during a traffic stop in the northwestern German city of Osnabrück, where highway police discovered the thousands of pills, which were made in the likeness of the president’s head. But, it didn’t stop there, as his surname was emblazoned across the back (and, yes, the pills are an orange color).
Of course, that discovery led to the arrest of two Austrian men, who were father and son. The two, who have already appeared in court, are still in police custody. The 51-year-old man and his 17-year-old son were allegedly heading home to Austria, through Germany, after traveling to the Netherlands to purchase a car.
The police, suspicious of the duo, searched the car and found five bags that made for a total of 5,000 pills worth an estimated $45,000.
In the control of the car, the officials found 5,000 ecstasy tablets, with the portrait of the American President Donald J. Trump. In addition, a large amount of cash has also been secured.
While the two were on their way to Austria, it is reported that the Trump-shaped pills are being produced in Amsterdam, and being sold on the darknet, using the slogan “Trump makes partying great again.”
According to an anonymous source that spoke to The Daily Star, the Trump ecstasy is being distributed in the United Kingdom, too.
