BASIC RULES FOR THE AMERICA LOVE IT, HATE IT DEBATE CHATROOM:
1. Two words, the N word and the C word get you a verbal warning, no kick, if repeated, then another verbal warning and kicked (short term ban), then (longer bans) if repetitive.
2. Trolls or other chatters who are here to solely disrupt chat or cause harm to the room get a verbal warning, no kick, if repeated, than another verbal warning and kicked (short ban), then (longer bans) if repetitive.
3.In a chat room there are offensive things said at times. Egregious comments about honorable US Military or the American flag get a warning, then kicked (short ban), kicked (longer term) if repetitive.
4. Twenty-four hour bans are invoked by owners only, unless non owner hosts have been authorized to do so by an owner re: a specific chatter for constant room disruption
5. When a chatter disturbs you personally, for whatever reason, it is strongly suggested you place that person on ignore. Hosts should ensure once an action has been taken, the dialogue at that moment, related to a specific incident, needs to end.
6. What is said or occurs in other rooms is of no interest to our room and should not become a discussion item in our room.
These policies have been in effect for over 20 years and have worked well for the room. Please abide by them and enjoy chat.

The following are the rantings of a hypocritical liberal. Posted from greenUU, a dellusional fabricator who thinks he is moral compass of the nation. My responses are in red.
Well, the long experiment is over.
Several years ago I found the “America! LoveIt-HateIt - Debate It!” room, so I started going in… to debate with conservatives. As they advertised in the name of the room. See what they thought. Not that I hadn’t heard their side before - I’ve listed to the Right for decades: Rush, Hannity, O’Reilly, Savage, Levin, Coulter, Ingraham, Medved, and more.
I am a student of the Right. No, you are a bloviating lecturer who is incapable two way dialogue.
The HateIt room, however, has zero interest in debate or a civil discussion of issues with anyone they don't agree with. Chatter after chatter that I attempted to engage (and this was prior to Trump) in a political debate revealed they are about one thing only: they detest anything and anyone “liberal” or Democrat. They don’t debate at all - they merely spew hatred to anyone who doesn’t agree with them. Their anger knows no bounds.
They hate every Democrat in office, and man, do they ever hate Barack Obama. Gee, I wonder why? And, when Trump came along, they fell in love.
So instead of anything resembling "debate", they descend into petty personal insults, or, mostly, ignorant loaded questions for any liberal, like, “Why are you a socialist/communist?” or “Tell us why you voted for a pedophile?”.
It never, ever matters what you tell the HateIt room crowd, they are consumed with one thing: “owning libs”. They are not genuinely interested in learning different views, or why someone would believe differently - only trashing them.
Many of the chatters are Sea Lions - trolls who pretend to come to the discussion honestly, pretending to want to get a liberal’s answers to their questions, but their actual purpose is to reject any answer and continue to harangue the liberal so they can “own” them.
Which brings us to the main feature of the HateIt room.
So incensed are they that anyone exists who holds different opinions than they do, that they have to rid their room of them. I, and other non-conservatives, are routinely banned - not for violating any rules, but just because they want to “show who’s boss” in their obsessive quest to Own The Libs™.
Their only way to “win”, when the haranguing isn’t working, is to eject chatters. Nearly all the hosts - PRIME, BecauseRealMenCan, BedHog, maineconch, KraigWY - constantly use their little hammers to make themselves feel powerful and in control. One wonders what their actual lives must be like, to seethe with such rage and to capriciously ban “the libs” with their little hammers, to feel powerful. (Note that there are no female owners/hosts in the room. They are content to be subservient to the males.) There is nothing more than any host in our room or most likely any other chat room would like than a nagging whiner who constantly tells others how to run a room rather than spend the $50.00 per year to open up his own room. UU, please, open your room. Let everyone in and chat to the standards you demand. I defy you to put your money where your mouth is. However, we all know that A. you won't spend the money to host a room, B. your room would be empty, C. after years of trolling chat people would love nothing more than to give you a taste of your own medicine, D. the last thing you would do is spend the money, time and energy to show everyone that you simply are not a chat draw.
(Sometimes they would say, “Well, the bans in Borders are just as bad!”, which like most everything else they say, is a lie. Borders allows conservatives to endlessly engage in discussions - sawdust, im1964, JP, JAKE, and on and on. I’ve seen Borders liberals (and hosts) attempt to debate them for extended lengths of time… no kicks, no bans - because liberals don't have the need to ban people who don't agree with us, like the insecure hammer-boys in the HateIt room do.) What you are saying here is that you like to be in the room where the conservatives are pummeled and kicked regularly. You like being part of the elitist ruling class. Admit it, you like being part of the ruling class.
Looking for any excuse to ban, hosts (esp. Kraig and maineconch) would demand that I answer their loaded questions, demand that I supply an answer for them about what I believe, and if it wasn't something I was interested in discussing at that moment, or if I was engaged in another attempt at discussion with someone else (or in maine's case, something I didn't answer in 15 seconds) - ban. It was hysterical. All about petty control.
I have posted many examples of the laughable bans I’ve received in the HateIt, simply for coming in, or for attempting to discuss an issue. I am always civil - 100 times more civil than they are (see: Katts, KristiCritter, BlondeRN, perado… I could go on - they are vile, low people). Having actually met many of the regulars in our room and chatting with many since 2001, I can say that your assesment is not out of knowledge but it is out of a true black heart who wants to "own" the people named without having to face them. They are fine people, they just don't have your views. I will say from knowing these folks for years, meeting many in person and speaking to many in real life they are genuine and fine folks.
Hell, BedHog once, in a desperate attempt to “own” me on a gun topic, flat out said that if an intruder came into my house I would enjoy seeing him rape my daughter.
What kind of twisted and disgusting mind thinks that is “debate”? This is fabricated gibberish. There were numerous witnesses in the room and saw what was said. However, feel free to post the exact copy of what I asked of you that evening.
I never responded to Bed again, which irritated him to no end. He, of course, had to invent a story about the reason - that he had gotten me to admit he was right on guns. I know, right? They can’t stand anyone disagreeing with them, so they have to convince themselves constantly that they are right on everything, even to the extent of telling themselves liberals actually agree with them… we just won’t admit it.
Just for fun, here is a recent ban, from the constantly-angry maineconch, whose hammer must give him a great sense of power. I had just started to answer a questions about immigration, with someone else.

A rare few of the chatters in there were pleasant to interact with, on non-political topics like music or fishing: Evan, yrdbird, Pinche, for example.
So yes, kids, the HateIt room is filled with small minds - angry at the world, angry at white people losing power in the U.S. (a topic I could fill 5 more pages with), selfish, crude, uneducated, inarticulate, and incapable of operating in a world where an exchange of ideas is the norm. So they have created their little safe space, their little alt-right Trump-worshipping bubble, their little clubhouse, where when things get tough - a liberal is in their midst - they can eject them rather than interact with them. Their white trash bubble remains safe.
They represent the most dangerous group in the U.S., the alt-right.
So, HateIt snowflakes, you get your wish: I’m out. You’ll find me occasionally in Borders, if you want to discuss anything there with me. But of course you won’t, because you can’t kick me out when you get offended. You have only been removed from our room by me a time or two. The post above is me removing you for picking at our regulars. You see, you are like a chihuahua who yaps a lot, craps on the floor, pisses on the furniture then wonders why you are outside the back door trying to paw your way back in. Perhaps if you ever lived up the standards you expect from others you might be a welcome participant. That is your choice. Our choice is that we don't have to have a yapping dog in our room to prove we love dogs.
