Sometimes you get a great sense of entertainment and satisfaction from a little bit of pettiness. There is nothing wrong with reacting to how another treats you, especially if it does not affect anyone in a significant way but brings a smile to your face. There is nothing wrong with having a dark sense of humor which is perhaps a bit twisted at times. It is not important to confront issues but simply file the information away. Be true to yourself and do what you enjoy. Do not let others define who you are as a person. Do not let their words dictate how you see the world and do not let them cut you down because they are insecure in themselves.

Lessons are often learned the hard way because for many it's human nature to blindly walk into situations that end up biting us. Being a kind heart is a blessing but also a curse. To some you are an angel, to others you are simply a door mat and a scape goat. There will be moments in your life where you will simply not be good enough and you will get dismissed like gum being scraped off from the bottom of their shoe. The guilt you feel for things you did not do, it's time to let go of it. Free your life from the burden that has been placed on you by those who are too arrogant to own it.

We only get one life to live and if we do it right once should be enough. We are not guaranteed anything so do we really want to look back on all the people we trampled on knowing we can not take back our failures, our mistakes, our judgement. Second chances can disappear like a wisp of smoke and leave us standing in the ruins of what might have been.
