Tonight my brother came to visit myself and mother before we moved away.  We spoke to each other with a pleasant tone.  Nobody would know our lifelong dislike of each other. I am not sure if I was acting fake or just attempting to be civil. I surely was not taking into consideration his abusive behavior of the past.  Mind boggling.  When mother had her accidnet on the rider mower and broke her back he actually told the rest of the family not to help me take care of her if I asked.  He said I didnt need any help.  I think I was more upset about that than her accident.I knew she would recover and she did.  But she changed then.  She had to admit his genuine lack of caring.  A point she avoided for close to 60 years.  I prefer to  speak my mind.  But not up to the drama anymore.  So tonight I had selective reality.
