August 25, 2026  and Still pissed off! 

The Trump administration has placed 50% tariffs on many Canadian products. 

To be clear, this means that the USA is in violation of their own CUSMA trade agreement.

Trump can Not be trusted to live up to any of his own trade deals.  He has No integrity.  He lies everytime he opens his mouth.

And he's too Stupid to realize that tariffs get paid by American consumers. 

Forty million Canadians raise their middle fingers in the direction of Mar A Lago.

I'm proud of Prime Minister Carney, not just because he lived in Edmonton (yay) during his high school years but also because he's a highly educated person, (Harvard, Univ, Oxford Univ, Masters degree, Doctorate in Economics).  He's accomplished, with years at Goldman Sachs, Governor of the Bank of Canada, Governor of the Bank of England.  He's thoughtful, he's well-spoken in French and English and well-respected.

Whereas Donald Trump is just a clown in a baggy suit.

Time is on Canada's side. We'll target Republican and border States with tariffs. 

That will cause those States to apply pressure on Trump to negotiate fairly.

He's already in danger of losing those States in the mid-term elections, so he'll listen.

Tom Petty won't back down and neither will Canada.
