Adobe has released a new version to fix the bug with special characters. The released version for IE is 11.8.800.174. Please ensure you have the latest version if you are experiencing the unicode nickname issue in IE. Note this is not applicable to Windows 8 users. Microsoft will have to issue an update as well for IE.
