About Us
Buzzen Communications is a long-standing online chat community built on connection, trust, and thoughtful moderation.
Our roots trace back to the early days of online chat, beginning with MSN Chat, where our founders and early leaders helped build and manage some of the platform's most active communities. When MSN Chat began shutting down in the mid-2000s, members of those communities sought a new home — one that would preserve genuine conversation, accessibility, and strong community values.
Out of the transition, NSM was formed, bringing together both English and French chat communities. As the platform grew, leaders from multiple networks collaborated, eventually merging their efforts to create something strong and more sustainable.
In September 2004, that vision became Buzzen Communications — a unified chat network designed to be stable, inclusive, and community-driven.

Our team brings together decades of experience in online community building, moderation, and technical support. While our roles may differ, we share a common commitment to respect, fairness, and thoughtful leadership.
Leadership, Administration & System Operators
Buzzen is guided by experienced adminstrators and system operators who oversee platform operations, community standards, and long-term direction. Their focus is on maintaining stability, supporting staff, and ensuring the community remains aligned with Buzzen's mission and values. They manage the technical foundation of Buzzen — including servers, security, and performance. Their work ensures reliability, protects the platform, and allows the community to run smoothly every day.
Moderation Team (Guides/Hosts)
Buzzen's hosts and guides are the heart of the community experience. They uphold community standards, support members, and help maintain a respectful and inclusive environment across all chat rooms.
Development and Support
Our developers and support staff maintain the website, tools, and systems that keep Buzzen running. From scripts and bots to forums and control panels, their work strengthens the platform and supports both staff and members.
