while that may be true everyone has had to make sacrifices and with that being said everyone thinks about themselves and it would be easy to think about what if you had to do what they do in this time and you should be able to respect how they have kept a cool head during this and if you would be able to do that if you were in their shoes
SexyNiya_theGoddes I did what they did. I retired from Police work after 27 years in 2017. I've seen how people are all in when they need your help and will literally stab you in the back when they are finished with you. It's something that becomes a part of everyday life on the job.
Respect? No, people EXPECT that their needs be met regardless of the cost to others. I also have an issue with the use of HEROES, we are paid to be out there, therefore it's our responsibility to do so. Is that heroic? No, it's simply earning a living. If you doubt my opinion, just ask yourself, if you/they were not paid to be there... would you/they be doing it? I'd say maybe people have a better appreciation for frontlines workers, but I think that will fade, meanwhile we just do our thing lol
Nope! Not at all! Kinda crazy, but I am a truck driver that delivers junk mail! Yep, that's right, JUNK MAIL! We were considered essential workers, and so were the warehouses that manufactured/produced/ sorted/ and sent out the JUNK MAIL that I, the USPS, and many others had to deliver during the pandemic, with no regards to our health and well being! But everybody wanted their (Junk) mail! Just like everyone want their garbage picked up! Ain't non of us got paid extra for this shit!
