Play Word Frenzy Build words fast. Beat the room to the best ones.
Buzzen Word Frenzy is a live word-building game played directly in chat. A large Frenzy Word appears, and players race to make smaller valid words from its letters. Longer finds score more, while periodic Unscramble Bonuses reward the fastest solver.
How to play
- 1Watch for the Frenzy Word
The bot posts a large base word and opens a timed Classic round.
- 2Build smaller words
Type the word normallyUse only letters available in the Frenzy Word. The default minimum is three letters.
- 3Score before someone else
Longer valid words are worth more points. By default, only the first player to claim each word scores it.
- 4Watch for Bonus rounds
Unscramble it firstAfter several Classic rounds, the bot scrambles a word. The first correct unscramble wins the bonus points.
Rules
- Use only the letters in the Frenzy Word. You cannot use a letter more times than it appears in the base word.
- The full Frenzy Word does not score. Classic answers must be shorter valid dictionary words.
- Minimum word length is normally three letters. The operator can change some round settings.
- Duplicate scoring follows the room setting. The standard rule is first claim wins; the bot announces the active rule when a game starts.
- There are no hints. Classic rounds are about finding words; Bonus rounds are about being first to unscramble.
- Registered members receive permanent stats and rankings. If guest play is enabled, guest points are session-only.
Player commands
Scoring words are typed normally in the room. Commands are only for information or game control.
!repeat- Repeat the current Frenzy Word or Unscramble Bonus.
!score- Show your points and scoring plays in the current game.
!stats- Show lifetime points, Classic words, bonus wins, games and personal records.
!rank- Show your permanent room rank.
!top- Show the permanent Word Frenzy room leaders.
!play- Resume Word Frenzy after an inactivity pause.
!wordfrenzy help- Show the in-room help.
!wfis a short help alias. !wordfrenzy status- Show the current Word Frenzy state and round number.
No special answer syntax. If you can build a valid word, just type it in the room. The bot handles validation, duplicate claims and scoring automatically.
