Cabot, Sar of Ven'dara, has not been seen nor heard from since January 22, 2025 in any form or venue. He is sorely  missed. My devotion to him made  it required I  step up in his absence  for the sake of Ven'dara, Ven'dara citizens, and all goreans,  just as he has done  for all of us, for one reason or another over  the last twenty years.  There are  no other changes for Ven'dara, Ven'dara citizens, and or any other goreans.

As was Cabot, I am in Ven'dara most evenings.  Stop by if you'd like.  Be polite, be respectful. I will be the same.

Meanwhile in the Voltai Mountains ......

 East of the Thassa, west of the winds .... there, at the headwaters of the Upper Fayeen river, are my lands,  my home where I was born. My property an exact 100 pasang square, extending well past the foothills to the Voltai mountains peaks. It has been in my family for more years than anyone can count. My home and lands are protected from trespassers by those of the Anasazi tribe who live just downstream since it's inception.

 

And within Ven'dara city proper ...........

.I purchased  the old  vineyard and winery on becoming a citizen of Ven'dara.  Long neglected it is now flourishing again. Both the vineyard and winery are completely off limits to visitors. Guards will  be delivering an arrow to the heart of any and all trespassers. They never give second chances. Neither do I. Trespassing is trespassing no matter how you color it. 

 I purchased the original Scribe home some time ago, facing Javylnn park. Fully renovated to today's standards,  the study is once again,  lovely and spacious enough to suit visitors scribe services needs quite comfortably. Someone's child left a stuffed animal there. I'll take good care of it until you come to reclaim it. Perhaps for your own children. It is still in very fine shape. I washed and let it air dry .

I find  peace and contentment in the soothing song harvested byssus sings when weaving its filiments into threads. Those threads are woven to fabric, on an immense beautiful loom. Byssus fabric stands alone in its glory. There is nothing quite like it in the entire world . What I weave, I wear. Once in a while it is my pleasure to create special occasion byssus garb for others. Accessories are not included.

  A  silver Koftgari hilted bidi sword, 32 inches in total, the blade length 26 inches, was crafted for me a long time ago.  The only difference between my sword and those who wield various other kinds and designs is that mine is much lighter weight and very feminine.  Cartouches are etched on both sides of the blade.  A silver scabbard envelopes the blade, and there it rests, resting snuggly down the center of my back. Always.
