​Yes I'm back with another blog. I was looking at a few things in my collected mess on my desk and ran across an article about fish. Lots of people don't realize what all fish has to offer our bodies in a good way. Fish is full of protein, Iron that is easier absorbed by the body then the iron in vegetables, magnesium and pottasium which helps support normal blood pressure, vitamin b and b12 which is good for the nervous system. Flounder and Haddock are almost fat free. As you can see fish is actually a good food for your diet. I also included a recipe that is tasty and very easy to make.
BAKED SALMON with TANGERINES
2 Salmon filets 8 to 10 oz each
1 cup Tangerine sections (peeled)
​1/4 cup Scallions (thin sliced)
2 tsp Butter
1/2 tsp Ginger (minced)
1/2 tsp Tamari
Parsley for garnish
Preheat oven to 350*F. In a greased baking dish lay the Salmon filets down, put the Tangerine slices over the filets.
​In a small bowl mix the Scallions, Butter, Ginger and Tamari together and spoon over the filets.
​Bake 20 minutes until opaque add parsley and serve hot.
​This really is an easy and healthy dish to make and the flavors are great together. Hope you enjoy it.
