In respect to ErrOr of the Buzzen Staff, I have removed the contents of this blog while a solution is being developed. I am not removing the blog because I want to preserve the contents of the resulting conversation it inspired.

I wasn't required to, I did it as a sign of good faith and a willingness to work together toward a viable solution to provide an adults only area with improved privacy and fewer ads.

Thank you ErrOr.

I understand why that ad bothers you, and we'll review it. But Google's ad choices and Buzzen's content rules are separate issues. A private group limits who can join; it does not exempt content from staff moderation, our TOU, or hosting and advertising requirements. We are responsible for what appears on this site. We've repeatedly offered to work with you on a solution, but that requires a willingness to work with us rather than treating every explanation as an attack.

I'm perfectly willing to work you on a solution, what I am not willing to do is be silent. I did NOT start this. I haven't published anything in a public area that has been overly graphic. What I did, was to start raising Hell when someone flagged something I wrote in a group that we were under the impression was private. I feel very misled into believing that groups were private; there ARE four differently privacy settings and my group has every one of them selected.

I have done everything I COULD do to keep some things out of view, but damn it I thought "private" meant exactly that and I personally feel VERY misled about the fact that they are not. That's why I'm pissed; thing I wrote intended for ONE other person to see were read by whoever felt it. Dude, that's just bullshit, plain and simple. I didn't write it in public, it wasn't meant for anyone other than my writing partner. We thought it was PRIVATE, and it isn't. I understand that NOW.

Private means your group is restricted to members you approve, rather than being accessible to the general public. It does NOT mean your group is exempt from Buzzen's Terms of Use, Code of Conduct, or our hosting and advertising requirements. Staff retain the right to review and moderate content in all groups, including private ones. Privacy controls who can access your group, not which rules apply to it. Those rules apply equally to everyone, regardless of a group's privacy setting.

When you created your group, you agreed to Buzzen's Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. Those rules apply to all groups, whether public or private. A private setting simply means you control who can join and view your group's content. It does not exempt you from the rules you agreed to or prevent staff from enforcing them. Creating a private group does not give anyone the right to disregard our policies, hosting requirements, or advertising guidelines.

I've said multiple times this is a simple thing to resolve. Give us an option to pay more for a yearly membership to a separate area without ads, kids and crybabies. I will gladly pay more for a better chat experience with less headaches and hassles.

err0rNov 4, 2026 11:27 PM

That is exactly what we've already told you we're working on! A subscription-based, ad-free option is currently being developed. We've also offered to meet with you and others this weekend to discuss the details. I can explain this repeatedly, but I cannot understand it for you. Until then, our existing rules still apply. We're willing to work together toward a solution, but continuing to argue the same points accomplishes nothing. This back and forth needs to end.

S̱ƙɑɍNov 4, 2026 11:29 PM

I am not intentionally violating the rules. I'm saying "I did not understand that what we believed to be private IS NOT." Dude, we have been writing for MONTHS in our group and NEVER had this issue come up BEFORE now.

The Gorean community has been writing and sharing stories on Buzzen for years without issue. It is only recently that YOU have begun crossing the line from creative innuendo and suggestive storytelling into increasingly graphic sexual descriptions. We have never had an issue with Gorean roleplay or storytelling itself. The issue is the explicit nature of certain content, not the community or its interests. That distinction has been explained repeatedly and should be clear by now.

err0rNov 4, 2026 11:34 PM

This isn't about the Gorean community. It's about YOUR disregard for rules you agreed to follow. Misunderstanding what private means is understandable, but we've explained it repeatedly. We've offered to invest our time developing a solution specifically to address YOUR concerns. We're doing everything we can to work with you, yet you continue to argue. There comes a point where this behavior makes it difficult to justify continuing to help. We're rapidly approaching that point.

err0rNov 4, 2026 11:37 PM

We have never censored, removed, or altered a single post you've made. We simply added clearer language to the site reminding users of rules that were already in place and that you agreed to when joining Buzzen. Nothing about those rules has changed. Making users aware of existing policies is not censorship. We've tried to address your concerns respectfully and have even offered to develop a solution. We ask that you show us the same respect in return.

S̱ƙɑɍNov 4, 2026 11:50 PM

I can agree to be respectful. Now, about the current contents of my group; all of that is stuff we are currently revisiting and editing, am I supposed to just take it all down? We write that stuff out as RP in a room and post in to our group for easy mutual editing while chatting. That's how we've been using our group for months, and that's exactly how we want to continue to work with each other here. Sorry man, we didn't realize other people read our raw material, we sat everything to private.

err0rNov 4, 2026 11:59 PM

Thank you for explaining, and I appreciate your willingness to work with us. You don't need to take anything down or change your existing work right now. Please leave it as is while we work on a solution. I'm currently coding Buzzen Plus Groups, a subscription-based, ad-free option with its own blogging system to make writing and editing stories easier. All we're asking is for some time, and we'd welcome your ideas and suggestions as we build it.

err0rNov 4, 2026 11:59 PM

You're right that a private group isn't visible to the public. The issue is that private content can still fall under Google's advertising rules. With no ads on Buzzen Plus Groups, we'll have more flexibility for graphic written stories. Some rules will still apply, including restrictions on illegal content and pornographic images under our hosting requirements. We aren't asking you to stop writing together or lose your work. We want your help creating something that works for your group.

err0rNov 5, 2026 12:00 AM

You're also welcome to message me directly through Buzzen's private messaging system anytime. I'll respond as soon as I can. I'd be happy to hear your ideas, suggestions, or concerns as we work on developing Buzzen Plus Groups. I believe we can come up with something that works well for everyone if we continue working together.

You sir, have earned my respect in your willingness to discuss this and to work toward resolving it amicably and beneficially. Thank you for that. Muse and I will redirect our energies into other areas until a viable solution can be developed.
